Hadleys Point Campground in Bar Harbor, ME is a large, rustic campground with many cute cabins and lots of open and shady RV sites. It is run exceptionally well with very friendly and helpful staff who greet guests upon arrival and guide them to their campsite. The free shuttle bus that stops at the campground is a big plus, making it very convenient to visit all of Acadias sights and hikes without having to worry about parking. Facilities at the campground are clean but rustic with metered showers, and although some reviewers found the showers to be lukewarm, others found them to be fine. Sites are generally good-sized but some may be small and close together, with some orientation quirks. While the bathhouses are a bit dated and not very private, they are kept clean. Overall, visitors enjoyed their stay at Hadleys Point Campground and look forward to returning in the future.
