Mt. Desert Narrows Camping Resort in Bar Harbor, ME is a beautiful campground with stunning waterfront views of the Atlantic Ocean. Its in a great location, close to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park, but away from the hustle and bustle of the city. While some of the waterfront sites are close together, they offer ample space behind the camping unit. The campground has easy access and parking. Some of the top of the hill sites were not level, but as you get closer to the water, the sites are better leveled. They do need to update their showerheads, but the staff is friendly and helpful overall. The water may have a brown color to it, and outside of the campground, you may need to go to wash clothes. The campground also offers easy access to the free bus service that takes you around the island and to Acadia National Park highlights and the neighboring communities. Some guests have experienced issues such as general maintenance problems like leaking spigots and mold in the shower room. Also, the bugs can be a bit overwhelming. Despite some minor challenges, Mt. Desert Narrows Camping Resort is a solid choice for a picturesque camping experience in Bar Harbor.

Mt Desert Narrows is a top campground that offers unique accommodations, family-friendly activities, and scenic locations. It is open from April 15th till September 15th, and reservations can have a maximum stay of 14 days per site. Consecutive stays are permissible as long as reservations are moved to different sites. With a Thousand Trails Camping Pass Membership, you can camp all year for one low price (with a 2-year commitment) or camp all year from less than $45/month. The campground is subject to availability, and reservations are required. Rates do not include taxes, and amenities vary by resort. Holiday reservations are excluded. Cannot be combined with any other offer or promotion. 10% discount valid on all RV site types, tent sites, and rental units.
