This campground is a real gem! Located on the Androscoggins River, it offers a variety of activities such as kayaking, canoeing, tubing, gem sluicing, fishing, and mine tours. The campground is small, but the staff is friendly and helpful. Rates are reasonable, and there is a discount available for Passport America members during certain times of the year. The grounds are narrow, so it can be tricky to get around, but the sites are grassy and level with nice views of the river and gem sluice area. There are also up to 10 full-time RV camping sites occupied by Workampers. The campground is a little pricey due to the tax, but it is a nice and quiet place to stay.

Bethel Outdoor Adventure Campground offers a variety of sites to accommodate everyone, from RVs and tents to cozy fire pits. With modern amenities such as hot showers, laundry & store services, and 20/30A or 50A hook-ups available onsite, you won’t have to sacrifice comfort for adventure. Pets are welcome too! Canoeing, kayaking or tubing down their streams will make this getaway one you’ll never forget.
