Pleasant River Campground offers a rustic camping experience with large wooded sites and plenty of space and shade. Full hook-ups are available in some sites as well as 30 amp service and water. The campground is well-maintained and clean, and offers activities such as volleyball and badminton, playgrounds, communal campfires, and access to the nearby Androscoggin River. Kayak rentals are available, and the owners are friendly and accommodating. The roads are gravel and sand and the Wi-Fi is not particularly strong, but overall this is a pleasant and safe place to camp. There is a camp store and larger Walmart nearby, and the White Mountain National Forest is close by for hiking.
