Woodland Acres is a clean and basic campground with a state park feel. It offers a small but well-stocked store, game room, playground, and friendly staff. There are many canoes available to rent right on site, and a kayak rental/shuttle service is offered for convenience. The pool is inviting and the campground is well taken care of. The area has seen a lot of rain, so there may be a mosquito issue. The campground is very sandy, and even though it is cleaned regularly, sand can still be found in the camper. There is no cable, WIFI, or cell phone signal, and the bathrooms are clean but dated, with no bench in the shower area. It can be noisy on Friday nights when large groups arrive, but quieter on Saturday nights.

From swimming, canoeing, and kayaking to fishing, hiking, biking, and mountain drives there is something for everyone. The campground offers camping in a wooded setting in the foothills of the White Mountains, with plenty to do for the whole family.
