Keenes Lake Campground is a lovely spot situated on a small lake. The staff is friendly and accommodating, and the view of the lake is stunning. The campground is small, but the sites are roomy and the campers can enjoy the natural beauty of the area, as the hardwood trees were left in place when the park was built. The daily, weekly, and monthly rates are very affordable, and the snack bar in the office/shop area is a great fallback plan if campers are too lazy to cook. The bathrooms and showers could be better, but the hot water is plentiful and flows well. The campground has limited signage and the road into the campground is bumpy, but the sunset over the lake is beautiful and the owners are very accommodating. The sites are unlevel and require some work to get level, but the laundry is clean and the electric and water hookups are fine. The lake is picturesque and the kids will love swimming in it. Overall, Keenes Lake Campground is a great spot for a relaxing camping experience.
