This campground is a great place for a peaceful and relaxing overnight stay. Located near route 95, the campground offers large, grassy sites with a background of trees and a pretty pond with tenting sites and a few free-range chickens. The new owners have made many upgrades, especially to the electrical system, and the campground is very clean and well-maintained. The camp store is nice, and the restrooms are clean. The pull thrus are level and grassy, and there is a washer and dryer in the same building as the bathrooms. Although the road the park is on is rough, it is reasonably quiet and only 2 miles from the interstate exit. The manager is friendly and accommodating, and there are 2 chickens, 1 cat, 1 old dog, and a duck with a hurt leg that roam around. Unfortunately, the road noise from the freeway can make it hard to sleep.
