The campground is located less than 2 miles from the interstate, making it an ideal spot for exploring south-eastern Maine. The roads are paved and gravel, and there is a little bit of incline coming in, but it is easy to maneuver a big rig. The campground is also conveniently located near LL Bean and other shopping outlets in Freeport. Cable and internet are no longer available, making the campground a bit pricey. However, the staff is very helpful and provides lots of area information.
