The park is built on the side of a hill and the gravel road makes it very quiet. The facilities are clean and well-maintained with hot showers. Wi-Fi is strong and reliable, great for streaming movies. Verizon signal is good. The camp store is well-stocked with everything you need and even serves meals and booze. The entrance to the park can be a bit confusing, but once you find it, the check-in process is easy. The hook-ups work as expected. The park offers a playground and games for kids. Overall, its a nice campground with a lot of space, clean facilities, and accommodating staff.

Stony Brook Recreation and Camping is a quiet, family campground located in Bethel, Maine. It is nestled along the beautiful Androscoggin River and surrounded by the foothills of the White Mountains. The campground is the closest full-service campground to Grafton Notch State Park and offers shuttles for hikers coming off the Appalachian Trail at Grafton Notch. It is just seven miles from Sunday River Resort, a four-season area for active families. The campground is open all year and offers large tent sites. Wildlife viewing, canoeing, kayaking, hiking, biking, and skiing are some of the activities that can be enjoyed in the area. Stony Brook Recreation and Camping is truly a four-season vacation area.
