GenieSummary
This campground is located in the midcoast region of Maine and offers a variety of activities and attractions nearby. It is a clean and pleasant park with spacious all grass sites, gravel roads, and easy access to Maine Hwy 1. The rates are the best in Waldo and Hancock counties and they even offer doggie daycare for a minimal charge. The bathrooms need paint and showers are starting to fall apart, but they keep them clean. The laundry is clean but the machines are slowly rotting at the tubs, still usable and only $.75 to wash and $.25 for 15 minutes to dry. The swimming pool died this summer so they decided not to charge for air conditioning. Charlie, Cheryl, Chelsea, and James are all very nice people and the potluck suppers are always fun with great food. There is a great place to walk in the woods in the upper section of the park. Water, sewer, & 50 amp electric all work well. The only downside is that satellite reception is not available in the center of the park, but this is something the office should have informed guests about when making reservations. Overall, this is a great campground for a quiet and relaxing stay with many nearby attractions.
