Mattawamkeag Wilderness Park Campground is a beautiful and unique camping destination located in north-central Maine. The campground offers 50 sites and 11 Adirondack shelters, some of which are located near the scenic Mattawamkeag River. The campground features full bathroom facilities, dumping station, free hot showers, a playground, and a recreation hall. Visitors can enjoy fishing, canoeing, hiking, or mountain biking on miles of trails. The campground is pet-friendly and offers group rates for retreats and special occasions.
