This campground is located close to Katahdin State Park and Katahdin Woods and Waters National Monument, making it a great destination for outdoor enthusiasts. The grounds are kept clean and well maintained, and there is a front end loader available to help with leveling. The campground has a pool, immaculate restrooms, a well-stocked store, and excellent wifi. There is no cable or satellite available, but there is one OTA station. The staff is friendly and cordial, and LP gas containers are refilled by metering. There are 6 shaded 30/50amp shared pedestal full-hookup pull thru sites for large rigs, and some back-in sites with open skies. The campground is very treed, so getting a satellite view may be difficult. Seasonal campers have 25 x 25 pink carpets in front of their rigs, sofas, large BBQs, armchairs, twinkly lights and fences. The only downside is that it can be very loud due to the large number of children and dogs in the area.
