There is a pathway to a cove with a dock and swimming area from where you can set out in your kayak. The beach is pebbles and sand, with a swimming float and dock. There is a playground, but it is on top of the leeching field for the sewer system and adjacent to a huge trash pile. The electric voltage is low, so air conditioning and electric heaters are not allowed. The roads and sites are overgrown with vegetation, and the bathrooms are old. The owners are pleasant and helpful, but they need to invest more energy in cutting back trees and vegetation, adding more gravel to roads and sites, and updating the electric to 30 amps. Bring your bug spray as there are plenty of flies and mosquitoes. If you can put up with the oddities of the place, youll never forget the experience!
