Orrs Island Campground is a rustic, oceanfront campground located on the beautiful Orrs Island. It offers stunning views, peaceful and quiet atmosphere, good utilities, perfect weather, a long beach, and friendly neighbors. The campground is shifting towards seasonal rates, but there are still some monthly sites available. All sites have full hookup, but there is no bathhouse, so you must have a self-contained trailer. There is a pathway to a cove with a dock and swimming area from where you can set out in your kayak. The beach is pebbles and sand, with a swimming float and dock. There is a playground, but it is on top of the leeching field for the sewer system and adjacent to a huge trash pile. The electric voltage is low, so air conditioning and electric heaters are not allowed. The roads and sites are overgrown with vegetation, and the bathrooms are old. The owners are pleasant and helpful, but they need to invest more energy in cutting back trees and vegetation, adding more gravel to roads and sites, and updating the electric to 30 amps. Bring your bug spray as there are plenty of flies and mosquitoes. If you can put up with the oddities of the place, youll never forget the experience!

Orr's Island Campground was a seasonal-only campground that operated from 1978 to 2015. It was located on a 42-acre point of land on Harpswell Sound and had a total of 70 campsites. The campground was a popular destination for families and visitors from around the world.
