Hilltop Campground is a small family campground mostly occupied by seasonal campers. The location of the campground is remote and offers a good value to those looking to camp in Down East Maine. The owners are super friendly and helpful and prefer monthly or seasonal campers. The closer you are to the front, the cleaner and better kept up the campground is, with more campers staying there. Overall, water and electricity are good, but the wifi signal is weak and only available near the office. While some older, seemingly abandoned trailers exist with overgrown vegetation around them, much of the campground is well maintained. Large piles of wood and debris in other areas of the campground are present, but not in the commonly used areas. Views of Bay of Fundy cant be seen from the campground, but there are plenty of places near by to enjoy the beautiful scenery and tides.
