Megunticook Campground in Rockport, ME is a beautiful campground on the coast. It has a common park area that overlooks the ocean with benches, chairs, and stunning views. The restrooms are clean and there is plenty of hot water. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. The campground is close to Rockland, Rockport, and Camden. The sites are level, shaded, and have full hookups. However, the roads are narrow and tree-lined, which can make it tight for bigger rigs. Despite this, it is a great basecamp for exploring the area, and we would definitely return.

Sea Swell Campgrounds offers seasonal and overnight camping in the heart of mid-coast Maine along Penobscot Bay. The campgrounds are perfect for exploring the hidden gems of nearby harbor towns. They have everything you need for a fun camping adventure including a laid back and peaceful atmosphere along with beautiful scenery, outdoor recreation opportunities and access to incredible fresh seafood. Sea Swell Campgrounds has two great campgrounds to choose from: Camden Hills and Megunticook. Both offer campsites for tents and RVs, as well as rental units for families and friends. On-site amenities include a swimming pool, sports courts, laundry facilities, and a fitness room. The location is a destination of its own, surrounded by fun and exciting adventures both big and small for guests to explore.
