Sun Outdoors Saco Old Orchard Beach in Saco, Maine is a family-friendly campground with well-spaced sites. The campground has two sections, the older section nestled in between tall pine trees and the newer section more in the open, and both have enough space for maneuvering your rig. The roads through the old section are very narrow with trees lining both sides, but big rigs wont have trouble getting through. Upon arrival, the check-in was quick and efficient, and staff escorted to an area to unhook the tow and then on to the site. Full hookup sites are available and include water, sewer and electric. Depending on the site, the water hookup may be on the opposite side from the pedestal and sewer which may require an extension hose. Theres a nice little grassy dog park and lots of kid stuff to do. The campground is quiet, clean, and well-maintained and offers plenty of amenities like an on-site breakfast restaurant, a well-stocked camp store, and laundry facilities. The location is great as its close to shopping, grocery stores, and a number of beaches. If you like to ride bikes, be sure to check out the East Coast Greenway Trail, which you can access less than a mile from the campground.
