What others are saying about this campground
High Tide Campground is a peaceful, natural retreat situated on 40 woody, rocky acres on the Maine coastline, just 4 miles from the town of BoothBay Harbor. It is not suitable for larger trailers or motor homes, and navigating around the corners and large pine trees can be difficult, especially in wet weather. The campground features small, uneven sites with rocks and roots posing a trip hazard, and electric and water connections on the other side of the campsite requiring extension cords and long hoses. The camp store is small and only offers ice, fishing lures, and pamphlets of local attractions. There is no swimming pool, no rec hall, and no planned activities, but visitors can jump off of a large rock into the ocean instead of the floating dock. Fresh caught lobsters can be purchased live or cooked. Booking one year in advance is necessary for any of the ocean view sites, or visitors can get extremely lucky.
