This campground is a great spot for a quiet, relaxing getaway. Located on a hill overlooking Long Lake, the campground offers stunning views of the lake and the surrounding area. The sites are well-groomed and amenities are nicely kept. There is free WiFi available with good reach, although cell service is almost non-existent. The camp store is closed, but each site comes with a picnic table, fire ring, cable, and Wi-Fi. The area is moderately covered with trees, but the pea gravel surface allows for good drainage in rain. The campground is usually full during the summer season, but it was not too crowded when we visited in mid September. The restaurant nearby is a great spot for a meal. The only downside is that there is no water for swimming.
