GenieSummary

Stockton Springs RV Resort is a beautiful, quiet, and new park in the heart of mid coast Maine. The park is run by a great couple and is just a block away from Stockton Springs harbor. The sites and roads are gravel, with just barely enough length to accommodate big rigs. The sights are short (about 35 feet) with deep, grooved gravel and the sewer connection is oddly raised so the end of your hose is high and arched. The owners are working to improve the campground as their finances allow and the location is great for day trips both north and south of Stockton Springs. You can also enjoy 50 amp service and satellite connection. The park offers great seasonal rates, making it the perfect destination for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

From The Campground

Harborside RV Resort is a pet-friendly campground located on Cape Jellison in Maine. The campground offers large, grassed, level sites with full hook-ups, 20, 30, and 50 amp electrical outlets, water and sewer connections, picnic table, fire pit, and fast WiFi. Showers, restrooms, and laundry facilities are available in the main building. The campground is located across the street from Stockton Harbor, which offers a beach for swimming, benches to relax and enjoy the view, and a wide boat ramp. Charter boat tours are available for those who want to explore the area by water. The Playground is also located on the Harbor with paddleboard and kayak rentals available. Other activities are scheduled there throughout the season. Fort Point State Park and Lighthouse are located on Cape Jellison and are a great bicycle ride from the RV park on a low traffic road with beautiful ocean views. The Penobscot Maritime Museum is also just a few minutes' drive from the RV park. The campground is centrally located at the head of Penobscot Bay with short drives to many of the most beautiful coastal towns in Maine, including Bar Harbor, Belfast, Blue Hill, Bucksport, Camden, Castine, Lincolnville, Rockport, Searsport, and Stonington.
