Green Valley Campground in Vassalboro, ME is a peaceful and affordable spot that offers great access to nearby diesel fuel and grocery stores. However, the condition of the campground itself is not well-maintained. The wiring appears sketchy, with exposed cable and haphazardly attached cables to trees. Seasonal trailers need significant cleaning up, with trash everywhere in the park. Privacy between sites isnt great, with trailers so close together that the occupants can practically pass items to each other. The fire pits are old truck wheels, and the area is littered with cigarette butts and used lighters. While theres a playground for kids, and a laundromat available, as well as nearby lake access, these are far outweighed by the downsides. Anyone with allergies to dogs may find the situation challenging, as the office had multiple dogs inside, including one that scratched a persons pants by jumping on them. Overall, Green Valley may not be in the best shape at the moment, and it would be worthwhile for the management to look into cleaning up the area to make it more inviting to guests.

From The Campground

Green Valley is a family campground located on beautiful Webber Pond in a peaceful setting. They offer a swimming area and boat docks for water lovers, as well as many other amenities. The campground is open from May 1st to October 15th and offers nightly and weekly rates. They do not offer air conditioning and taxes are not factored into the rates. Deposits are non-refundable. The Kennebec Region has many exciting and family-friendly events and things to do. Green Valley Campground is located 10 miles from Waterville and Augusta, and 35 miles from the coast. According to Bassmasters, Webber Pond is Maine's highest rated bass fishing pond. Reviews of the campground are not available.
