From The Campground
Dummer's Beach Campground is a family-owned and operated campground located on the tranquil beach front of Lake Webb in Weld, Maine. The campground has been in operation since 1931 and has families who have vacationed with them for more than three generations. All campground sites come with electricity (30 AMP) and water hookups, shower and bathroom facilities, 1/2 mile of sandy beach, 2 dump stations, semi-weekly septic pumping service, boat launch, canteen with snacks and drinks, playground area, designated swim area, and activities for kids such as basketball, volleyball, horseshoes, teatherball, and badminton. The campground is located near Mt. Blue State Park, which offers looping trails, swimming, and picnicking, as well as Tumbledown Public Lands, which offers nearly 30,000 acres of sweeping alpine vistas, popular hiking trails, and productive forests in one of the state's most well-loved mountain areas. The Hatchery is also nearby and offers kayak and paddle board rentals and sales, as well as local artisans, antiques, art, vintage clothing, jewelry, and Mayan hammocks.
