This campground is a great place for those looking for a peaceful and quiet getaway. The roads and sites are of dirt with very little gravel, and most sites are close together. The bath houses are clean, and the showers cost 0.25cents for every 6 minutes, so bring plenty of quarters. The staff is friendly and the bathrooms and showers are clean. There is WiFi in the office building and laundry facilities. The pool is always clean, and there is a beautiful view of the inlet and ocean in the far distance. There are shuffle board and basketball courts, although they are in need of upgrading. There is a strict 24 hour quiet policy, and the campground is conveniently located near Drakes Island Beach and many restaurants and grocery stores. The sites are $65/night and include E/W/Sewer/Cable, although they are hard to access and may be too small for larger trailers. There is also a lack of amenities such as microwaves and BBQs.

From The Campground

Ocean View Cottages & Campground is a complete family vacation resort. They offer camping accommodations with restrooms, coin showers, tables, and fire pits. Firewood and ice may be purchased at the office. They also offer cottages and suites that are completely equipped for light housekeeping with dishes, silverware, cooking utensils, electric refrigerator, electric range, bathroom with shower, and electric heat. Wireless Internet hotspot is available in the Rec Hall and office. All cottages are non-smoking. The campground is open from Mothers Day to Columbus Day.
