Sun Outdoors Wells Beach in Wells, ME is a large, well-maintained campground with clean restrooms and great amenities. Guests have noted that the campground can be a bit pricey, given the additional $10 resort fee, but that hasnt deterred them from returning in the future. The campground is situated in an excellent location, with easy access to the beach and recommendations for local restaurants and shops. Guests have noted that while rules are in place (and enforced), the majority of campers are respectful and friendly. However, traffic on the highway can make leaving the site a bit tricky. The only cons noted were the lack of grab bars on the mens showers near the office and the absence of a dog park.
