Sun Outdoors Wells Beach in Wells, ME is a large, well-maintained campground with clean restrooms and great amenities. Guests have noted that the campground can be a bit pricey, given the additional $10 resort fee, but that hasnt deterred them from returning in the future. The campground is situated in an excellent location, with easy access to the beach and recommendations for local restaurants and shops. Guests have noted that while rules are in place (and enforced), the majority of campers are respectful and friendly. However, traffic on the highway can make leaving the site a bit tricky. The only cons noted were the lack of grab bars on the mens showers near the office and the absence of a dog park.

Located just one mile from our resort, Wells Beach is a beautiful stretch of sandy dunes and sea grass and offers opportunities for recreation and exploration for the whole family. Miles of walking trails and endless watersports combined with beautiful historic sites, antique shops, and fine restaurants is why Wells continues to be one of the best family vacation spots anywhere. Relax during the day splashing in our pool or playing a round of mini-golf and unwind at night sitting around the campfire under the stars!</p>
