These parks offer varied public access to Maine's landscapes, lakes, and mountains. Freshwater swimming, golf, bike and kayak rentals are minutes away. Day trips are easily planned for Mount Desert Island, Fort Knox, and Campobello; Roosevelt's summer home. The campground is run by fifth-generation Maine hosts and offers amenities such as WIFI, gas fireplaces or heat pumps & AC, and a free bus service to Acadia/town. Pets are not allowed in cottages and minimum stay requirements of 3-7 days apply.
