This campground is a great spot for a one night stopover from New Brunswick Canada to VT. It is situated on a lovely lake, with lots of boating and canoeing potential. The campground has a small beach for swimming, a good pool, and games, as well as a playground with the same children everyday. The campground has some shaded areas, a few long pull thru sites, and a limited number of 50 amp sites. It is a very popular family oriented park near Augusta, and the buildings and landscape are in good condition. The campground also has a list of 28 rules, including no washing dishes or pans in sinks and washrooms closed between 8a and 9:30a. Unfortunately, the campground does not offer a 10% discount unless you pay in cash.

Augusta West Kampground is a family-owned campground located in Winthrop, Maine. The campgrounds are nestled in a quiet and unspoiled area surrounded by beautiful views of Annabessacook Lake. The campground offers comfortable sleeping arrangements, some of the best bass fishing in the area, time on the water in kayaks, canoes, paddle boards, and paddle boats, swims in the swimming pool or the lake, playtime in the arcade room and at the playground. There is also a camp store where they sell ice cream, firewood, clothing, ice, propane, etc. Augusta West Kampground is sure to be a fun and exciting place for you and your family.
