GenieSummary
This campground is a great option for those looking to be close to the beaches and other entertainment in York. It is a quiet and tidy seasonal small campground with full hookups and a handful of sites for transitional campers. Unfortunately, the middle sites are cramped together with barely enough room to extend sliders and awnings. There are no onsite facilities, no grass, no picnic table, and no dog run with rules prohibiting walking dogs within the park. Utilities are at the rear of the space, water on the wrong side (passenger), and the sewer connection too high off the ground. There are no showers/bathrooms here, no activities other than scheduled games nights (board type games), and trees too thick for satellite. The campground is overpriced at $62 per night just for the ability to walk to the beach, and there is an additional fee of $10 per day for small dogs.
From The Campground
Flaggs RV Resort is a quiet and friendly camping resort located in beautiful southern Maine, just 500 feet from Long Sands Beach. The resort offers seasonal sites, live entertainment, a large gathering area, community fire pit, and a large Timberframe Pavillion for community activities. Guests can enjoy cool ocean breezes and a great location across from Long Sands, making Flaggs the perfect 'second home' for the season. The resort is close to an array of great outlet shopping, a variety of restaurants, and York's Wild Kingdom, the area's largest zoo and amusement park.
