This county park offers a variety of sites including back-in and pull-thru sites with full hookups and 50/30 amp service. The park staff are friendly and helpful throughout the check-in process; however, there is no camp host or ranger patrolling the campsite. One of the parks highlights is the beautiful natural surroundings, providing a sense of privacy when camping. You will feel like you are deep in the woods, yet you are only a short drive from the cities of Rockville, Germantown, Frederick, and Washington D.C. The park has a rustic feel, making it an excellent spot for stargazing and enjoying the tranquility of nature without any external light interference. While the campground is generally quiet, there may occasionally be noise from some of the nearby highways. Additionally, some sites may not be level, requiring campers to use leveling blocks, as there is no guarantee of site levelness. The toilet and shower facilities are clean, but the downside is that there are no FHU loop toilet and shower facilities, so campers may have to hike to facilities in the other loops. There is no WIFI in the park, but there is a basement facility for doing laundry, which accepts credit cards for payment. Little Bennett Campground is open seasonally and offers a nice camping experience overall.
