This campground is a great home base for exploring Washington DC and the surrounding area. It is conveniently located near the I-95 and the DC Metro bus stop is just a few minutes away. The sites are spacious and the amenities are great - two pools, a hot tub, mini golf, a camp store, a cafe, laundry facilities, and walking trails. The staff is friendly and helpful and the campground is kept clean. We also took advantage of the free tour overview workshop which was very informative and helped us maximize the use of the public transport system in DC.

Cherry Hill Park is conveniently located near a Home Depot and a huge grocery store. They also offer transportation options to DC, including guided tours, the Express Bus, and public transit from their on-site bus depot.
