What others are saying about this campground
Woodlawn Campground is a small, rustic campground located half a block off Route 13 at the Delaware-Maryland border. It is owned by a sweet lady who lives yards away and is known for going above and beyond to help her guests. The campground is heavily wooded with tall shade trees that provide great coverage throughout the day. It is a no-frills campground with basic amenities such as showers, sinks, and toilets, as well as a dump station. There is a large lot across the street owned by a church where a dog can run and exercise. The hookups are a little difficult to figure out and not all of them work. Despite this, it is a great, lower cost option for those looking to explore the Assateague and Chincateague parks, in addition to Ocean City.

From The Campground
Woodlawn Campground is a small family-run campground that was established in 1971. It is about 35 miles west of Ocean City and 31.3 miles northwest of Assateague Island. Much of the campground is in a wooded area, but the trees are kept pruned to avoid problems with awnings or extending sides. Woodlawn Campground is an inexpensive and basic campground that provides easy access to attractions such as Assateague Island. It is clean and well-kept, and the owner has an excellent reputation for both her helpfulness and knowledge of the area. There are also several rivers and ponds where you can go fishing, and across the street from the camp is a large yard where you can exercise your dog.
