This campground offers an unforgettable experience with clear and beautiful nights that offer amazing star shows. Though the staff are not particularly friendly, the campground is still a great place to set up a tent and hang out with friends. Beware of snakes that come out when the sun goes down, and wear water shoes as there are a lot of stumps in the water. The campsites are grassy and large enough for slides and awnings, with FHU sites near the entrance that have 30 Amps. Unfortunately, the power is not reliable and the sewer hookup is on the wrong side, so visitors need to run the hose under the motorhome. There is a casual restaurant with outdoor seating down the street, but not much else in the area. The groundskeepers may come to your site while you are packing up to leave, so be aware of that.

Roaring Point Waterfront Campground is a family-operated campground that has been in business since 1974. The campground offers a traditional camping experience that includes valuable time with family and friends while connecting with natural surroundings. The majority of the sites are 50'x50', and the campground offers a range of amenities and activities, including fishing, crabbing, swimming, live entertainment, arts and crafts, hayrides, and more. The property dates back to the 1700s, and the campground is located on the Nanticoke River, which has a rich history that includes Civil War soldiers, the Nanticoke Steamboat, pirates, and the Nanticoke Indians. The campground is pet-friendly and offers daily, weekly, monthly, and seasonal rates.
