There are also a few rustic cabins available for those who dont have a tent or RV. The nearby Nassawango Pavilion and tire playground are great for family reunions, and the campground is steps away from the Pocomoke River, which offers a partial view. The loop road is flat and paved, but tight and winding with lots of trees. Theres also access to the 12 mile long Algonquin Cross County Trail, and the campground is close to attractions like Ocean City, Salisbury Zoo, Historic Berlin, Assateague, and Wallops Island. The Shad Landing section of Pocomoke River is more convenient for those looking to explore Assateague or Chincoteague, as it has more amenities and the campsites are more private and wooded.
