Sandy Hill Family Camp is a family campground located on the beautiful Nanticoke River in the Lower Shore of Maryland. The campground offers opportunities for fishing, crabbing, swimming, hiking, and relaxation. The facilities include separate fishing and swimming beaches, two boat ramps, a pier, a playground, a large recreation hall with a game room, and 99 sites for tents, trailers, and motorhomes. Each site includes 30 amp electric service and water, plus picnic tables and campfire rings. Some pull-thru sites and seasonal sites are also available. Sandy Hill Family Camp is located two hours from Baltimore and Washington DC, and offers a central location for exploring major historical destinations. The campground is open from March 15th through December 15th.
