This campground is a great destination for those looking for a friendly and kid-safe atmosphere. It offers water and electric hookups, but no sewage, but there is a pump out truck available. The overnight sites are grouped closely together on a grassy slope. The owners are very friendly and welcoming, and the campground is filled with a down-home party atmosphere. The pool is clean and the restrooms and showers are immaculate. There is also a wonderful church service on Sunday mornings at the pavilion. Big rigs are welcome, but the nearby sites are restricted to prevent the breaker from tripping. The bath houses are cleaned daily, but have not been updated in years. Fishing is only available if you go out on a boat, as the seasonal water front site owners will not let you near their grass. This campground caters more to the seasonal sites, and is a great place to stay with a group of friends.

Goose Bay Marina and Campground offers over one hundred of the coolest, shadiest, waterfront campsites in Southern Maryland. It is also a headquarters for boating, with 5 piers, 250 boat slips, travel lifts, and a full-service maintenance center.
