This campground is a great place for families, couples, and groups to stay. It offers full hookup sites with cable TV in the spacious Safari Field, as well as wooded, field, and shaded sites. The roads are dirt/gravel and can be dusty, but the park is clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. There is a pool, although it is not always open, and there are not many organized activities. However, the campground is located close to many small towns, and the staff was willing to refund two nights when the weather was bad. The seasonal campers are also friendly and helpful, running down the hill to help when an awning blew up in the wind. The over-flow area can be difficult to get out of due to rocks and trees.

With over 280 sites to choose from, Lamb City Campground is a perfect vacation destination spot for families.
