This campground is located in a scenic area with a babbling brook running through it. It is well-lit at night with electric lanterns and has wide walking paths throughout the grounds. There is a small playground for the kids, a good-sized swimming pool, horseshoe and corn hole tournaments, and karaoke nights as organized activities. The camp store carries essentials including ice and propane. The sites are on the small side but adequate for groups, and the water pressure and 30 amp electrical service are good. Unfortunately, there is a lot of dog poop on the grounds and the picnic tables are too close to the neighbors leaking septic dump and hose, which contributes to a rancid smell. The fire pits are also too close to the neighbors motor homes, and the sites are hard to back into. There is also a bear in the area, so visitors need to be careful not to leave food or trash out overnight. Despite these issues, the campground is friendly and quiet, and the natural rock fire pits are a nice touch.
