What others are saying about this campground

This campground is located off the beaten track near an air force base and is open year round. It offers water and electric only, no sewer, but a convenient dump station as you leave. Winter rates are $14/day $84/week and Summer rates are $23/day $140/week. It is first come - first served and it is highly recommended to call ahead on the day of your arrival to ensure an open site. The office staff is very helpful with local attractions and base information. The parking pads are concrete but entrance to the sites are dirt, rocks and dead grass. The fire ring is overgrown with weeds and full of trash. There is a big room in both men and womens restrooms for privacy. The water does not taste great but the utilities work fine. Verizon cell and hot spot worked well. The camp is not highly cared for, with much overgrown grass and weeds, but it is a safe, level, and affordable place to stay.

From The Campground

Westover’s Outdoor Recreation and Fam Camp is home to 20 RV sites with 50 & 30AMP hookups, multiple tent areas, and is only a brisk walk to the Westover Club & Lounge and Westover Bowling Center! Dog Friendly and Coin Operated Laundry on site! Outdoor Recreation does not do reservations for tent or RV campsites. It is currently on a first come first serve basis so please call ahead to check availability!
