It has tight roads servicing the generous seasonal sites, easy assess to the Field for big rigs and weekenders, and air conditioning is superfluous except for a few nights in August-shady sites with cool breezes. There is no WiFi, but cable costs extra, and there are 10-15 channels with a good aerial. The clean bath house has plenty of hot water for $1. Management is friendly and helpful and there are plenty of activities for families such as movie nights and tie dye your shirt day. The campground is peaceful and private with nicely distanced sites and plenty of trees for shade.

Lake Manchaug Camping is a family-oriented seasonal campground located in the heart of the scenic Blackstone River Valley in Massachusetts. The campground features 90 acres of woodlands surrounding a beautiful, crystal-clear body of water, Lake Manchaug. Guests can enjoy fishing, boating, waterskiing, biking, hiking the trails of Douglas State Forest, or simply lounging by the campfire and watching the sun set. The campground is also conveniently located near several local attractions, including Boston, Douglas State Forest, Purgatory Chasm State Reservation Park, Old Sturbridge Village, and more.
