Granville is a secluded campground located just over the Connecticut border near Granby. It has a full shower/bath and sink for washing and a water pump not too far from the site. The campground has a zero-tolerance alcohol policy and offers bear boxes for storage. It is a great spot for a day hike, fishing off the Farmington River and local pond, and watching the lightning bug display and raccoons. There are no places to buy supplies if you forget anything, and no place to dispose of garbage. The park ranger is friendly and helpful.

Granville State Forest is a peaceful campground located deep in the woods, offering a break from city life. The campground offers quiet wooded campsites for tents and RVs, with no electric hookups. Visitors can enjoy hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, fishing, hunting, cross-country skiing, and snowshoeing. Restrooms and showers are available, and dogs are allowed on-leash. Alcohol, littering, swimming, and motorized off-road vehicles are not allowed. Camping is $17/night for Massachusetts residents and $54/night for non-residents.
