The forest is centered around Otis Reservoir, which offers a variety of recreational activities, including boating, fishing, and camping. The campground is open from mid-May until mid-October and offers non-electric RV sites with a 35-foot driveway. The forest also offers hiking trails, educational programs, and hunting (in season) for all types of game, including turkey, bear, and deer.
