What others are saying about this campground
Tolland Campground is a heavily wooded and scenic campground located off of Route 8 in western Massachusetts. It is situated on the Otis Reservoir, offering beautiful lake views and plenty of opportunities for swimming, boating, fishing, hiking, and biking. The campsites are large and there is a small area of sandy beach with a pavilion and grills. There are only three hot showers within the campground and the comfort stations have flush toilets. There is a boat ramp for the general public for use of their watercraft, although it may close early on busy weekends. There are bears in the area, so campers must keep food in their cars, campers, or the provided box on each site. There is also a small, old cemetery to explore within the campground. The folks in the office were pleasant enough at check-in, but they offered no advice or information regarding the bear situation or any other aspects of the campground.
