Beartown State Forest is a 12,000-acre forest located in Monterey, Massachusetts. Visitors can swim, boat, or fish in Benedict Pond during the summer, and cross-country ski and snowmobile in the winter. The forest also offers hiking, horseback riding, mountain biking, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, off-road vehicles, camping, and more.
