The owners/staff were friendly, but had an attitude when it came to escorting visitors to their site. WiFi was only available at the recreation building and the base rate for the campsite was $34. The campground was generally quiet, but the owner had a strict policy regarding overnight guests. The park had not been upgraded since the 70s and a guest was ordered to leave the park the night before they were supposed to check out. It was a beautiful area, but not a place to create good memories.

Located in the scenic Berkshires region of Massachusetts, Prospect Lake Park is a destination that appeals to all campers. Prospect Lake Park is set along 2000 feet of wooded lake shore and offers 125 shaded or sunny campsites. The campsites accommodate everything from the smallest tent to the largest RV (36'). Even if you do not own a tent or an RV, you can enjoy the fine cabin accommodations that are offered. The Palmatier family is committed to your camping pleasure and continues a tradition of warm recreational hospitality that stretches back over 100 years!
