Canoe River Campground in Mansfield, MA offers many amenities for families, including a playground and a pool. While there are some seasonal campers with covered units, and the campground is difficult to judge because it appeared to be filthy. The water pressure was excellent. However, getting into some of the pull-thru sites can be difficult for larger RVs, and sewer connections are not ideal. The poor interior road conditions are very noticeable, with some roads having large holes. Despite its good location, the park was considered by some campers to be dirty and overcrowded, with poor supervision of kids.

Canoe River Campground is a family-friendly camping site located in Mansfield, Massachusetts. It is situated midway between Boston and Cape Cod, making it an ideal location for those who want to explore both areas. The campground features mostly wooded campsites and offers a variety of amenities and activities for families to enjoy. Visitors can rent canoes, kayaks, and paddleboats to explore the nearby waterways, fish without a license, play baseball or basketball, or enjoy the playground and horseshoe pit. The campground also has two pools, a large recreation hall, and an arcade. Most campsites feature a fireplace, picnic table, sewer hook-up, water, 30-50 amps of electricity, and wireless internet access for a fee. The general store offers ice, bottle gas, firewood, and food and camping supplies. Canoe River Campground is open from April 15th to October 15th.
