It is situated midway between Boston and Cape Cod, making it an ideal location for those who want to explore both areas. The campground features mostly wooded campsites and offers a variety of amenities and activities for families to enjoy. Visitors can rent canoes, kayaks, and paddleboats to explore the nearby waterways, fish without a license, play baseball or basketball, or enjoy the playground and horseshoe pit. The campground also has two pools, a large recreation hall, and an arcade. Most campsites feature a fireplace, picnic table, sewer hook-up, water, 30-50 amps of electricity, and wireless internet access for a fee. The general store offers ice, bottle gas, firewood, and food and camping supplies. Canoe River Campground is open from April 15th to October 15th.
