North of Highland Camping area is the perfect spot for tent campers looking to enjoy the beauty of Cape Cod National Seashore. The campground is surrounded by pine barren forest and is within walking distance of Head of the Meadow beach. The campsites are shaded and decently sized, and there are several centrally located restrooms with coin-op showers and amenities like soap and paper towels. The desk clerk is extremely helpful and friendly, and will help you pick the best site for your tent. The campground is very quiet and relaxing, and the owners are strict on their quiet hours policy and noise restrictions. The camp store is straight outta the nineties and offers a variety of activities like foos ball and ping pong. The only downside is that fires are not permitted on site and the roads can be a bit rough for compact cars. But overall, North of Highland Camping area is a great spot for a peaceful getaway!
