Dunes Edge Campground is a great location near Cape Cod National Seashore and trails. Tent sites are nicely designed and the campground has showers. Though the name is somewhat misleading, as the campground is right on route 6 and can be quite noisy, the nearby beach is beautiful and secluded. Sites are small and close together, but the showers are decent. The camp store is stocked and the staff is friendly. There is no communal space for kids, but the nearby town of Provincetown is quaint and full of fun activities. The campground is owned and run by the Trustees of Reservations, a not for profit organization, and the facilities are clean.

From The Campground

Dunes' Edge Campground offers 90+ wooded sites for tents, pop-ups, and vans, 5 canvas bungalows, and 15 trailer spaces. The campground can accommodate motorhomes up to 28 feet in length and travel trailers up to 24 feet in length with water and electric hookups. Amenities include hot showers, a camp store, a laundry, and dumping station. The campground is open from the weekend before Memorial Day until the last weekend in September. Pets are allowed and must be kept on leash and cleaned up after. Fires are not permitted, but campers can use propane or charcoal. The campground is wheelchair accessible with wheelchair accessible campsites and parking, and all-terrain wheelchair accessible trails.
