Salisbury Beach State Reservation is a beautiful park that overlooks the point at which the Merrimack River feeds the Atlantic Ocean. It offers a 3.8-mile coastline for swimming and sunbathing, 2 boat ramps on the Merrimack River for boating, and 484 campsites for tents, trailers, or RVs. The park also features a boardwalk, picnic area, grilling, pavilion, playground, restrooms, scenic viewing areas, showers, trailer/RV dumping, trailer/RV hookup, and weddings. Accessible camping, educational programs, restrooms, and nature center are available for visitors with disabilities. Dogs are not allowed on the beach from April 1st to September 15th, and alcohol and littering are prohibited.
