The campground is conveniently located near many historic towns with great restaurants and shopping. The campground is generally quiet during the week, but can become loud during the weekend when tenting locals come to visit. There is limited room to move around, and some people can be up drinking and loud all night. The ground is mainly sand, which can turn to mud when it rains. A $10 deposit for a fob to open the gate is required.
