This campground is located close to Salisbury Beach and is a great base camp for exploring the area. The roads leading into the campground are dirt and can be narrow and bumpy, so big rigs may have difficulty navigating them. The campground is mainly composed of seasonal guests and is generally friendly. The main entrance is a large gate with one half closed, leaving a small opening for large rigs. The campground has many trees and bushes which can make backing up larger rigs tricky. The office staff is friendly and helpful. The camp store has limited supplies but is adequate for milk, cheese, and a few toys. The restrooms are clean and always stocked. Outside firewood is not allowed, but it can be brought in without any problem. The Wi-Fi is non-existent. The TV offers few channels with old programming and a lot of interference. The campground is conveniently located near many historic towns with great restaurants and shopping. The campground is generally quiet during the week, but can become loud during the weekend when tenting locals come to visit. There is limited room to move around, and some people can be up drinking and loud all night. The ground is mainly sand, which can turn to mud when it rains. A $10 deposit for a fob to open the gate is required.
