What others are saying about this campground
Scusset Beach is a State Reservation in Sandwich, Massachusetts that offers easy-to-hook-up and flat RV sites in a variety of sizes. The campground is beautifully paved, spacious, and each site provides a lot of space. The location is right on the ocean, but visitors should note that the beach water is not immediately accessible from the sites. However, there is a bike path along the nearby canal that is close and offers a nice ride with slight grades. Additionally, the park has several trails around the reservation. The campground personnel are known for their friendly personalities and being very helpful. The bathhouse is large and well-maintained with lots of sinks and several showers. The park also offers a variety of activities for visitors, such as visiting P town, Cape Cod National Pond, Nausit Beach and Lighthouse, National Sea Shore, Woquoit Bay, Heritage Museum & Garden, and much more. While Scusset Beach is more expensive for non-residents, many visitors feel the prices are reasonable considering the location. The RV sites are well-maintained and easy to maneuver within the park. It is worth noting that while many of the RV sites do not offer much privacy, the park also has several tent sites towards the back of the campground. Overall, Scusset Beach Reservation is a great option for those who want to enjoy the beach, go biking, and explore the surrounding areas.
