Marthas Vineyard Family Campground offers a rustic and peaceful camping experience, with plenty of activities to enjoy both on the campground and on the island. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and make the check-in process seamless. The facilities are well taken care of and one of the cleanest campgrounds. The wooded sites offer some privacy despite being close together, and there are clean showers and a few fantastic outdoor showers. The campground offers a playground, store, game room, laundry room, fire rings at each site, and a large community fire pit for everyone to enjoy. Skunks are often seen on the property, but they wont bother visitors. The campground is conveniently situated close to the towns in Marthas Vineyard, and a bus stops right at the entrance, making it possible to camp at the campground without a car. The vineyard is amazing, but lodging can be expensive. Nevertheless, Marthas Vineyard Family Campground offers an affordable way to stay and enjoy the beauty of the island.
