What others are saying about this campground
Horseneck Beach Campground is a great spot for car camping and RVs, located less than an hour from Providence, Rhode Island. The campground is situated adjacent to the beach, and sites are just a short walk away from the beach. The beach is rocky, but the water is clean and sandy. Sites come with a picnic bench and a fire pit with a grate, and bundles of wood can be purchased at the ranger station. There is no hookup, but there is easy access to running water and a dumping station. The campground has great showers and a modern shower facility, and the area is very dark at night, making it great for stargazing. There are no trees for shade, and the sites are spaced apart, giving campers a sense of privacy. The campground is currently undergoing renovations, but the new configuration has not been decided yet. There are lifeguards at the public beach, and two new bath houses.
