Potable water is available, and there are water spigots at the entrance. The campground features a swimming beach, hiking trails, boat launch, and a bird walk. Mosquitoes can be a problem in the area, but high-quality citronella candles can help keep them at bay. Despite the bugs, reviewers loved the campgrounds easy access to nearby attractions like Lake Superior, Munising, and Pictured Rocks. Many plan to visit again.
